NBA 2K27 Official Player Ratings

These are the official NBA 2K27 player ratings from 2K’s Top 100 list (nba.2k.com / NBA.com), not a community spreadsheet. Early Access began August 26, 2026. The worldwide launch date is September 4, 2026. Overalls will fluctuate through the 2026-27 NBA season as real games land. Bookmark this page and recheck updates after weekly ratings drops instead of arguing from an August graphic.

Three players share the ceiling. SGA is the on-ball engine. Wembanyama is the two-way size piece and the 99 block. Jokic is the half-court hub. One overall point between 97 and 96 is not a reason to start a forum war. Brunson, Luka, and Giannis are all 96 because they win games in different ways: mid-range bully, creation volume, and paint gravity.

The 93 cluster is crowded on purpose. Curry, Durant, Kawhi, Tatum, Mitchell, and Towns are not the same player. Play Now lineups should pick the skill, not the shared number. Maxey at 92 is the last guard before the 91 group. LeBron at 91 is rank 16 on this official snapshot — still a 90 Club member, no longer a 97.

The 90 Club

2K’s Top 100 page calls out the exclusive 90 OVR Club. Everyone in the Top 16 is in it. The club continues past rank 16 with Jaylen Brown (91), Joel Embiid (91), Devin Booker (91), Tyrese Haliburton (90), and Anthony Davis (90) on the same official list. That is 21 players at 90 or above on the launch snapshot. Jamal Murray at 89 is the first name outside the club.

90 Club membership is a marketing and MyTEAM language as much as a gameplay cliff. A 89 two-way wing can still lock a Play Now starter. A 90 who does not match your scheme is a bench piece. Use the club as a filter for “these names will be in every argument,” not as a rule that 89 is unusable.

Attribute headlines and rookies

Victor Wembanyama’s 99 block is the interior headline of this ratings cycle. It shows up in Play Now contests and in how people talk about rim protection. It does not auto-win MyTEAM if the card’s other ratings are light, and it does not mean your Rec center should hunt threes because the Spurs big can shoot in real life.

Rookies sit where 2K always sits them: high enough to start, low enough to rise. Cooper Flagg debuts at 87 overall. Dylan Harper debuts at 85. Those are strong first ratings, not finished superstars. If either goes nuclear in 2026-27, the overall will move. If either sits, it will not. Do not rebuild a MyPLAYER because a rookie is 87. Rebuild because your Park lineup needs a body.

Other Top 100 names you will see in arguments: Scottie Barnes, OG Anunoby, Deni Avdija, and Austin Reaves in the 88 band; a long 87 group that includes Paolo Banchero, Bam Adebayo, Trae Young, Kyrie Irving, and Flagg. Those overalls are close. Badges, tendencies, and your lineup matter more than one point of OVR.

How to use ratings without wrecking a MyPLAYER

Official overalls are for:

• Play Now and Play Now Online matchup math
• MyTEAM when a card’s overall is the search filter
• Scouting language: “I want SGA creation,” “I want Wemby contests,” “I want Jokic passing”

Official overalls are not for:

• Copying an NBA height into The City
• Deciding your Park Popper should shoot like Curry because both are “guards”
• Assuming a 97 cannot be posted by a 91 with strength

If you want a City body, take the role and open best builds. If you want to know which box you bought, open cover athletes. If a weekly update moves a name three overall, that is an updates event, not a reason to panic-sell a MyPLAYER.

SGA, Wemby, and Jokic sharing 97 is a snapshot of August 2026, not a season-long lock. Track the Top 16 and the 90 Club as 2K restamps the list, steal one attribute idea per star, and keep your Park sliders on a different tab — ratings are a scouting packet that expires every week the NBA plays.
