NBA 2K27 VC Grind Planner
Add edition VC, season passes, 2KTV, and mode choice. Ignore infinite-VC sellers and fake locker sites.
This planner is a ledger, not a cheat. Virtual Currency comes from editions, Season 1, 2KTV, MyCAREER, and The City. It does not come from key resellers, “unlimited VC” apps, or locker-code Discord pings that ask you to log in on a clone site. Early Access began August 26, 2026. The worldwide launch date is September 4, 2026. Write down what you already own, then pick tonight’s mode. The long guide is how to get VC. This page is the table you keep next to that guide.
We will not invent an infinite faucet. We will not list a hidden MyCAREER exploit. If a method is not edition VC, a published season reward, a 2KTV question, or playing the game, it does not belong here.
Edition VC
Read editions for the full SKU list. The VC math you actually write down:

Ultra is limited through September 6, 2026. Switch 2 is Standard only. Deluxe and Ultra are digital on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. Pre-order bonus VC is not the same pile as edition VC — Deluxe is 100,000 plus the 10,000, Ultra is 135,000 plus the 10,000. Standard is the 10,000 only.
If you already spent that pile on a MyPLAYER you hate, the planner does not print a second Deluxe. It tells you to grind Season 1 and 2KTV.
Pro Pass versus Hall of Fame Pass
Season 1 runs a 40-level ladder with cross-progression between The City and MyTEAM. The free track still pays cosmetics, badge tokens, and a Level 40 cap breaker. Paid tracks sit on top.

Buy a pass early in the season if you are going to buy it at all. Progress and rewards reset at the end of the season. Ultra owners should not buy a second Season 1 Pro Pass. HOF’s 15,000 VC is instant; the rest of the 45,000 figure is earnable through levels, not a drop in your account at checkout. Details and dates live on Season 1.
2KTV
2KTV episodes pay VC for correct answers. Episode 1 was already worth playing during Early Access. Do not guess. Use 2KTV answers and write the payout you actually received after the episode, not a number a thumbnail invented. 2KTV is slow compared with Deluxe, and it is honest. It is also one of the few free sources that does not require a 40-minute Rec game.
Locker codes are a separate channel. No active locker codes have been posted yet on this wiki’s codes hub. When they drop, redeem them in-game. Never type a locker code into a third-party form.
Season ladder and mode choice
The Season 1 ladder is the grind you can count on without paying. Every City game and every MyTEAM game feeds the same XP. 2XREP windows in Casual Corner, The REC, The Theater, Ante-Up, Proving Grounds, and Crew HQ double the climb when they are live. Blackout and Midway list VC among event rewards when those playlists are up. Do not assume every event pays VC — read the event card.
City versus MyCAREER is a time question, not a secret multiplier we made up:

If you need badge tokens more than raw VC, City games that match your discipline (finishing in the paint, shooting from the hash) beat a MyCAREER game you sleepwalk. If you need to finish a 99 without getting farmed, MyCAREER plus 2KTV is the calmer night. Neither mode prints 100,000 VC. That number came from Deluxe.

Stop when the goal is done. Buying Level Skips at $1.99 each is a real 2K product; treat it as a skip, not as a grind. Buying VC from a website that is not PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam, or 2K is how this planner fails.
Add the numbers you can see on your edition screen, your Season 1 pass, and tonight’s 2KTV episode, then close the ledger. The grind is City or MyCAREER with one goal per night — not a second Ultra key, not a fake locker, and not a promise that Rec pays like a 135,000 VC SKU.
